123TaxCredit.com (123) helps Arizona families receive the highest quality education possible. Our tax credit is different than a standard charitable contribution or deduction.
We use these tax credit donations to award tuition scholarships for K-12 students attending any private school of your choice in Arizona. This is where we differ from other STOs that only work with partner schools, or force participation in order to obtain awards.

Give to 123 Pre-tax Through Your Paycheck
Arizona’s withholding tax reduction law (A.R.S. 43-401) allows individuals to authorize their employer to send their state withholding tax amount to 123TaxCredit.Com as a dollar-for-dollar tax credit donation! These funds are donated as if you made your tax credit donation in one lump sum, but this way, you donate smaller amounts throughout the year, without affecting take-home pay.
You can donate to 123 through your Arizona state tax withholding with our simple sign-up process.
- Check with your employer to see if this is a benefit they are willing to provide.
- Fill out a withholding pledge form and mail, scan and email.
- 123 will return an Authorization Form within one business week. Review the form and fill any necessary information. Sign and give pages three and four to your employer.
- Your employer, if they agree to participate, will reduce your state tax withholding per pay period and will send that amount to 123 on your behalf (instead of sending it to the state).
Once it is set up, donations are automatic for the rest of the year, and will automatically stop once your donation limit is reached (a limit you indicate on our pledge form).
See if your employer will provide this benefit today!

Arizona Private School Tuition Tax Credit law requires you to understand the following: “Notice: A School Tuition Organization cannot award, restrict or reserve scholarships solely on the basis of a donor’s recommendation. A taxpayer may not claim a tax credit if the taxpayer agrees to swap donations with another taxpayer to benefit either taxpayer’s own dependent.”
Approval of a recommended tuition awards is not solely based on the donor’s recommendation.
A parent/guardian may not make a recommended donation for their own dependent. Swapping donations are strictly prohibited.
Restrictions apply to high income households, early starting kindergarten students, non-Switcher eligible students, and others.
A complete application and/or a recommendation does not guarantee a scholarship. According to Arizona law and ADOR regulations, every STO must consider financial circumstances when making award decisions. 123’s Selection Committees consider Financial Circumstances, the Narrative in each student’s application, as well as Donor Recommendations when making their award decisions. Our Selection Committees have complete discretion regarding all scholarships awarded.
Please note without recommendations, your student only has 66% of the criteria our Selection Committees consider, while a student with recommendations has all of the criteria available for the committees to consider.
This can be a big motivation for parents to talk to friends and family about making an 123TaxCredit.Com donation recommending their student(s) for a scholarship.
